Uzbekistan helps evacuate Kyrgyz citizens from Turkey
Citizens of neighboring countries return to their homeland via Tashkent on a special flight.
On February 9 of this year, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the foreign representative offices of Kyrgyzstan in Turkey evacuated 6 Kyrgyz citizens from the city of Gaziantep, the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA reported.
According to him, citizens of Kyrgyzstan flew to Tashkent on a special plane of Uzbekistan, where they will be met by employees of the embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan.
After the special plane arrives in Tashkent, the Kyrgyz embassy in Uzbekistan will help them return to their homeland.
“At the same time, the Ministry of Kyrgyzstan in Turkey and foreign agencies are continuing to evacuate citizens in the natural disaster zone and provide assistance to them,” the report said.
