Administrative employee in Kashkadarya detained while receiving a bribe of 370 million soums

In the course of an operative event carried out by employees of the Kashkadarya Regional SSS Department together with the Regional DIA and the Regional PGO Department, an employee of the Yakkabag district administration was caught red-handed while receiving 370 million soums from a representative of a local construction company.

It turned out that the suspect set a “rate” of 7% of the amount of the tender for the overhaul of two schools in the district – 5 billion 250 million soums, promising the businessman to organize a victory in the tender.

Also, during the operative investigation, an employee of the preschool education department of the Yakkabag district, who was involved in this illegal transaction, was detained.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the above persons under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are being carried out.
