More than 182 billion soums to be allocated for holding referendum on new constitution – CEC
According to the cost estimate prepared by the CEC and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, it is planned to allocate 182.3 billion soums for the upcoming referendum on the new constitution.
The Central Election Commission, together with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, has developed an estimate of expenses related to the preparation and holding of a referendum on amendments to the constitution.
According to calculations, it is planned to allocate 182 billion 386 million soums from the state budget for holding the referendum. Member of the commission Adkham Ibodullayev announced this at a regular meeting of the Central Election Commission.
This cost estimate was formed within the funds established by the state budget and agreed with the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
It is noted that when forming the estimate, the requirements of the legislation regarding the holding of a referendum were taken into account.
