Japan sends second gas turbine for a 1500-megawatt TPP under construction in Syrdarya
The first capacities of the station will be put into operation in July this year.
Reportedly, a modern TPP with a capacity of 1500 MW is being built by the Saudi company ACWA Power in the territory of the city of Shirin and the Bayaut district of Syrdarya region.
The station is equipped with the most modern and energy efficient gas turbines from Mitsubishi.
In particular, the second stage of large-sized power equipment imported from Japan arrived at the station’s construction site.
The first capacities of the station will be put into operation in July this year.
It should be recalled that in December 2022, the first gas turbine imported from Japan was installed at this TPP.
