Gas distribution station in Navoi causes a loss of 14.1 billion soums to the state

As a result of external influence on the meter at the gas distribution station, it became known that the interests of the state were damaged, the information service of the Energy Ministry reported.

It was found out that in March of this year, the electronic gas meter installed in the industrial collector of the gas distribution station “Khodja-Khasan” belonging to the Kogon Main Gas Pipeline Department, located in the territory of the “Malikabad” mahalla, Kiziltepa district of Navoi region, was tampered.

According to preliminary estimates, the total amount of damage caused to the interests of the state amounted to 14.1 billion soums.

For information, through this industrial collector, natural gas is supplied to 3 CNG filling stations and 3 greenhouse farms belonging to business entities.

Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting pre-investigation check on the case.
