Law enforcement bodies detain a person who organized mining farm in his house in Bukhara (video)
He caused damage of 2.6 billion soums to the state by connecting 14 mining devices to high-voltage electricity. Cases of electricity theft were also found in Tashkent and Namangan.
Cases of illegal use of electricity were detected in Namangan, Tashkent and Bukhara regions, the MIA press service reported.
It was found that the iron smelting and metal production workshop located in Davlatabad district of Namangan city illegally used electricity without installing an electric meter. This workshop caused material damage of 1.6 billion soums to the state budget.
The illegal situation was also put an end to the multi-sectoral private enterprise located in the city of Akhangaran, Tashkent region. The organization arbitrarily connected to the high-voltage power grid, as a result, the state budget was caused damage of 635.5 million soums.
Illegal use of electricity was also detected in Bukhara. It is noted that in Bukhara, a citizen has set up an illegal mining farm in his house. He has been using 14 high-voltage electrical appliances in his apartment.
It was found that the owner of this apartment caused damage of 2.6 billion soums to the state interest.
In connection with the above cases, criminal cases have been initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. Currently, pre-investigation checks are underway.
