A video message about the death of a 3-year-old girl is spreading on social networks and causing various discussions. The Tashkent city DIA provided information about this case.
It is noted that citizen D.U. (born in 1996), on April 25 of this year, applied to the Sergeli district DIA and reported that she left her minor child S.U. (born in 2020) to her classmate Sh.N. (born in 1996) to babysit, but the child died in her apartment.
During the investigation Sh.N. confessed that on April 24, minor S.U. fell down the stairs to the basement, but she got up and started playing again. So, the babysitter did not inform her mother about this incident, nor did she contact the doctors to provide medical assistance to the child. According to her, on April 25, at approximately 10:00, the child fell unconscious and died before the arrival of paramedics.
A forensic medical examination was appointed to determine the cause of death of a 3-year-old girl.
On the above fact, a criminal case was initiated by the Sergeli district DIA under Article 117 of the Criminal Code (“Leaving at risk”). Suspect Sh.N. was detained in procedural order. An investigation is underway.
