Social networks circulated a video showing schoolgirls beating up another girl in Shaykhantakhur. According to the officials, the attacking girls lynched a schoolmate who is older than them because of an argument occurred a month ago.
On April 25, a video of 3 girls hitting and kicking the victim went viral on social networks. It can also be heard that the beaten girl apologized to the bullying parties and asked them not to beat her.
The head office of preschool and school education of Tashkent city gave an official response to the situation. Allegedly, the incident took place on April 25 at approximately 15:00 in the basement of house No. 4 on Uchlola street, “Samarkand darvoza” mahalla, Shaykhantakhur district.
“It was found that S.S., a 7th-grade student of school No. 82 in this district, together with her friends Ch., S., T. and G., beat up the 8th-grade student of this school K.M. of the same school and posted the recorded video on her Instagram page” the report said.
Also, according to the department, an investigation is being conducted by employees of the Shaykhantakhur district DIA in connection with the above situation. No further details have been released yet.
According to the preliminary studies of the DIA, this situation occurred because the girls got into an argument a month ago. After that, schoolgirl S.S. (born in 2010) and her friends beat the student K.M. (born in 2009) and demanded an apology from her.
It is noted that a legal decision will be made at the end of the investigation.
It should be recalled that recently a video of several girls studying in the upper class of school No. 331 in Yangihayot district beating up a student who is younger than them was released. Later, the school administration announced that the victim was beaten up because she spread rumors in the school, saying that a high school girl was depicted in an obscene picture.
