Previously convicted citizen attacks a flower shop saleswoman in Tashkent
The incident occurred in the Shaykhantakhur district of the capital. A criminal case has been opened against the attacker, who also beat two citizens who tried to calm him down.
On June 23 of this year at approximately 19:30, citizen Kh.A. (born in 1984), (previously convicted under Article 165 of the Criminal Code) attacked a saleswoman, citizen Kh.T. (born in 2003), in one of the flower shops in the Shaykhantakhur district.
Citizens A.T. (born 2003) and T.I. (born in 2002), who were present, tried to calm him down and prevent a fight, but Kh.A. struck them and caused bodily harm to both of them.
According to primary medical information, the victims suffered minor injuries.
In connection with this situation, the Investigative Department of the Shaykhantakhur district DIA opened a criminal case under Paragraph “d” of Part 3 of Article 277 of the Criminal Code (“Hooliganism associated with resistance to a government official or the public performing duties to protect public order, or to other citizens suppressing hooliganism behavior”).
An investigation is underway. Based on the results, a legal decision will be made. Dear citizens, if you have suffered from the actions of this person, we ask you to report this to the nearest police department number or 102,” the capital’s police department said in a statement.
