Public procurement for improvement of Namangan International Airport for 1.4 billion soums canceled
The Anti-Corruption Agency found that two bidders, including the winner, registered on the electronic platform through a computer used by two members of the procurement commission (with the same IP addresses).

According to the Anti-Corruption Agency, during the public procurement for 1 billion 440 million soums, carried out on May 2 by order of Namangan International Airport LLC for a complex of cleaning works (improvement), there were violations of the bidding rules.
In particular, the requirements of Article 10 (principle of competition and impartiality), Article 14 (conflict of interest), and Article 46 (restrictions in the public procurement process) of the law “On Public Procurement” were violated.
It is noted that the documents of two procurement participants, including the winner, were uploaded to the electronic platform from one IP address, which was used by 2 members of the procurement commission.
On the day of public procurement, under the above circumstances, the customer was presented with a proposal to cancel the protocol of the procurement commission and the collected documents were sent to the department for combating economic crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.
On May 3, the customer - Namangan International Airport LLC - canceled the protocol of the procurement commission.
