107 people suffered from food poisoning since the year-beginning, 2 people died

Most of those who were poisoned turned to medical institutions with an acute intestinal infection, two of them after eating fast food.

Over the past period of the current year, 107 citizens suffered from food poisoning in 21 cases, two of them died. This was announced during a press conference by representatives of the Committee on Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health.

22 of those who suffered from food poisoning were children.

15 cases of poisoning are associated with the use of home canned food. Botulism was diagnosed in 52 citizens, eight of whom were children.

It is noted that two of the poisoned turned to medical facilities after eating fast food at catering points.
