Türkiye remains major importer of Uzbekistan’s polyethylene
In January-April 2023, Uzbekistan exported 72 thousand tons of polyethylene worth $61 million to foreign countries.
According to the preliminary data of the Statistics Agency, the volume of polyethylene export decreased by 16 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan exported polyethylene mainly to the following countries:
- Türkiye - 32.2 thousand tons
- China - 12.4 thousand tons
- Latvia - 11.4 thousand tons
- Russia - 7.7 thousand tons
- Kazakhstan - 4.6 thousand tons
- Georgia - 1.2 thousand tons
- Great Britain - 907.5 tons
- Netherlands - 557 tons
- Portugal - 371.3 tons
