It is noted that as a result of the decisions taken by the Cabinet of Ministers in 2018, 63 inter-district HIV diagnostic laboratories were transferred to the AIDS control centers. From 5 to 40 places serving HIV patients have been established on the basis of infectious diseases hospitals of each region.

In the last 5 years, the number of HIV tests has increased from 700,000 to 3.5 million, or 5 times. Governmental financing of medicines was 80%, the report said.

Reportedly, for the purpose of social protection of patients, social allowances are being given to HIV-infected children under the age of 18. In order to stop the mother-to-child transmission of HIV infection in the republic, continuous supply of dry milk mixtures is carried out to the children born to sick mothers (up to 600 on average) every year. As a result, 99.7% of children are healthy.
