Soldier died two months after being conscripted in Jizzakh 

An 18-year-old boy from Yangiyul, who was serving in one of the military units of the National Guard in Jizzakh region, died. He was conscripted into military service on April 14, 2023, and solemnly took a military oath on May 14.

Otabek Tursunaliyev, born on August 21, 2004, called his father on May 18 and said that he was going to a place called Dashtabad, he and 18 soldiers were going to serve at the military training ground there.

On June 7, the soldier was admitted to the military hospital in Samarkand. He told his relatives that he was being treated for a stomach flu. On June 15, the soldier’s father was informed about his son’s death.

In the death certificate, it was noted that Otabek Tursunaliyev’s death was caused by cardiovascular atherosclerotic disease. However, the relatives of the deceased do not believe this.

The National Guard press service informed Kun.uz that a medical examination was conducted to determine the cause of the soldier’s death, and detailed information will be provided after the examination results are ready.
