A Yutong bus traveling from Tashkent to Samarkand collided with an oncoming SHACMAN truck while turning at a designated point on the road. The truck was heading from Samarkand to Tashkent.
The bus driver was a man from Bukhara region, born in 1982, while the truck driver was a man from Kashkadarya region, born in 1983, the department said.
Some passengers on the bus received first aid, the department added.
