SSS prevents illegal circulation of narcotics in Samarkand and Syrdarya
In all cases, the drugs were smuggled into the country from Tajikistan.
An operative event was held in Urgut district by employees of the State Security Service Department of Samarkand region in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies.
According to the information of the State Security Service, the apartment of a local citizen was inspected with the participation of impartial officers. As a result, it was found that there are 437 grams of heroin stored in the apartment for future sale, and it was formalized in the procedural order.
In another case, two citizens living in Urgut district were arrested, and 995 grams of opium substance, which is planned to be sold in the future, was seized from them in the appropriate manner.
In the third case, two citizens living in Urgut district were caught with material evidence when they sold 581 grams of opium for $6,000.
In an operative event conducted by employees of the State Security Service Department of Sirdarya Region in cooperation with the customs and internal affairs bodies, a Cobalt car moving on the Surkhandarya-Tashkent route was stopped at the "Syrdarya" traffic checkpoint.
When the car carrying 3 citizens born in Surkhandarya region was inspected with the participation of impartial officers, it was found that there was 1 kg of hashish substance in the bag of rice in its trunk and it was registered as material evidence.
In all cases, the drugs were smuggled into the country from Tajikistan.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these persons under Articles 246 and 273 of the Criminal Code, and investigations are being conducted.
