Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon discuss strengthening bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan
On July 19, in Saudi Arabia, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the sidelines of the first summit of the leaders of Central Asian countries and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.
During the conversation, the parties discussed a wide range of issues regarding bilateral cooperation.
The sides considered the current state of relations and prospects for their further development in the near future.
They stressed that the participation of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the summit can serve the interests of both states.
During the meeting, the parties also had a fruitful conversation on other topics of interest.
