Ambassador of Hungary completes his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan
On July 20, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Ambassador of Hungary Gyula Kovács, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, FM Saidov expressed gratitude to Gyula Kovács for his important role in bringing the Uzbek-Hungarian bilateral relations to the level of strategic partnership during his activity in Uzbekistan as an ambassador.
“Since Mr. Ambassador is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan, we wish him continued success,” Saidov wrote on his Telegram channel.
Gyula Kovács was appointed ambassador to Uzbekistan in December 2021, replacing Peter Santo, who opened the Hungarian Embassy in Tashkent and headed the diplomatic mission in 2016-2021.
