Uzbekistan’s population growing by about 1.9 thousand people every day
According to the Statistics Agency, as of July 1, 2023, the permanent population of Uzbekistan was 36,372,276 people.

The number of permanent residents of the republic increased by 2.2% compared to the corresponding period of last year.
The population of Uzbekistan has grown by 347.3 thousand people since the beginning of 2023 (or by 57.9 thousand people on average every month).
Every day of 2023, about 1.9 thousand births were recorded.
