Fire in a karaoke bar in Fergana claims lives of six people
Seven more people were hospitalized with various injuries.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on July 29, at about 11:39, the regional emergency department received a message about a fire in a karaoke bar, which is located in the basement of a four-story building on Sayilgokh Street of the Mash'al mahalla in Fergana.
At 11:44, 6 fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene, the fire was localized and completely extinguished at 11:56.
Later, the Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that as a result of the fire in a karaoke bar, six people died, seven people were hospitalized with various injuries.
By a presidential order, a government commission headed by Deputy PM Achilbay Ramatov was formed, which went to the Fergana region to investigate the incident and provide assistance to the victims.
