Fire breaks out on passenger train bound for Nukus

On September 19, at around 14:47, a fire broke out on a passenger train traveling from Mangystau to Nukus. Sparks from the turbocharger section B of the locomotive ignited specialized rubber technical plates in the intercarriage connections.
The train conductor acted swiftly, stopping the train, and by 14:50, the fire was extinguished.
It was reported that passengers were safe, and the carriages remained undamaged.
At 15:30, after repairs to the locomotive, the train resumed its journey, arriving at the Nukus station at 16:23, one hour behind schedule.
The company also stated that disciplinary measures were taken against those responsible. All locomotives underwent additional fire safety inspections.
