STC paid 579.5 billion soums of cashback to consumers in H1
The State Tax Committee announced the amount of money paid to 2 million consumers.
More than 68,000 complaints about tax violations were sent through the tax partner system. 13.5 billion soums were awarded to citizens for cases of violations confirmed during tax audits, the head of the STC information service, Dildora Hoshimova, reported at an AIMC briefing.
It is noted that the tax debt, penalties and fines of individuals amounting to 502 billion soums and individual entrepreneurs amounting to more than 476 billion soums have been written off.
In order to increase the working capital of business entities, nearly 9 trillion soums or 7% more than the corresponding period of the previous year were reimbursed from the budget.
“In the past 6 months, 76.3 trillion soums of tax revenues were provided to the budget, and the plan was implemented by 101.8%, or 1.3 trillion soums was an additional income,” Hoshimova said.
Also, the growth of the salary fund had a positive effect on the income of the Pension Fund, which increased by 26%.
Despite the reduction of the VAT rate from 15% to 12%, it increased by 36 billion soums compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
