Senate of Oliy Majlis to convene for next plenary session on August 4
At the plenary session, the Senate will discuss laws on amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code and some legislative acts. Senators are also expected to consider laws on the protection of wildlife, advocacy and volunteering.
The Senate Council adopted a resolution to convene the 43rd plenary session on August 4.
A number of laws and legislative acts will be discussed at the plenary session, which will be held via videoconferencing.
In particular, the laws “On the safety of hydraulic structures”, “On introducing amendments and additions to the Criminal Procedure Code in connection with the improvement of the institute for verifying the legality, validity and fairness of court decisions” and “On introducing additions and amendments to some legislative acts, aimed at improving the system of licensing and licensing procedures in the field of circulation of crypto-assets” will be discussed.
The laws “On amendments to Article 3-1 of the law of Uzbekistan “On advocacy”, “On amendments and addenda to the law of Uzbekistan “On volunteering”, “On amendments and addenda to Article 43 of the law of Uzbekistan on the protection of wildlife”, “On amendments to the Law of Uzbekistan “On veterinary medicine” will be considered.
In addition, the results of a parliamentary inquiry sent to the Cabinet of Ministers on cleaning river beds and strengthening their banks, the negative impact of mining of non-metallic minerals on environmental, water and road facilities are expected to be discussed.
