Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran plan to create an international transport and transit corridor
On July 31, negotiations were held in the form of a videoconference between representatives of the Transport Ministry of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of Iran.

At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of accelerating the signing of an agreement between the governments of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran on the organization of an international transport corridor.
The sides also considered reducing fees for international road transport through Iran, the possibility of using the ports of Bandar Abbas and Chabahar for export and import cargo.
In addition, the parties expressed their intention to develop an international transport corridor along the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Iran route.
