Defense Ministers of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan meet in Aktau

The heads of the defense departments visited the military facilities in the Aktau garrison, where the second stage of the joint operational-tactical special exercise "Kanzhar-2023" is taking place.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations in the field of combat training, military education and military-patriotic education.

According to the ministers, the joint implementation of combat training tasks during the exercises makes it possible to achieve efficiency, coherence in the actions of headquarters and subunits, and master new forms and methods of combat. They also noted the existing potential for cooperation in the field of military education.

Also, the sides expressed confidence in the development and strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation.
