The Uzaviation agency has issued a permit for flights to Uzbekistan to the Tatarstan company UVT Aero, the Ministry of Transport reports.
The document was drawn up by the agency on August 17, on the basis of an intergovernmental agreement between Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation on air traffic.
UVT Aero will operate Kazan-Samarkand-Kazan flights on Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft.
Last week, the agency issued permits for regular flights to Uzbekistan to three air carriers: IndiGo will start flying between Delhi and Tashkent from September, LOT Polish Airlines is preparing to launch flights from Warsaw, and Malindo Air from Kuala Lumpur to the capital of Uzbekistan.
