Turkish-German airline SunExpress receives permission to perform flights to Uzbekistan
The Turkish-German air carrier plans to connect Samarkand and Izmir with regular flights.
SunExpress has received permission to operate regular flights to Uzbekistan, the press service of the Uzaviation agency reports.
The air carrier will fly from Izmir to Samarkand on a Boeing 737 aircraft.
The document granting the company rights to carry out flights to Uzbekistan was issued on September 12, on the basis of an intergovernmental agreement on air services between Uzbekistan and Türkiye. “Further details will be announced later,” the agency said.
