Mining farm in Samarkand illegally consumes electricity worth 28 billion UZS
In Samarkand, 89 mining devices were found illegally connected directly to the power grid, bypassing the electricity meter, in the basement of a building owned by a family enterprise.
Authorities in the Ishtikhon district of the Samarkand region uncovered 89 mining machines, with a total capacity of 244.4 kWh, operating in a basement adjacent to a building owned by the “M.G.M.” family enterprise. The devices had been illegally wired directly to the power grid, bypassing proper metering systems.
This violation resulted in the illegal consumption of electricity valued at 28.9 billion UZS.
The incident has been documented, and all relevant materials have been submitted to law enforcement agencies for further action.
