TOP-3 donor countries sending most humanitarian aid to Uzbekistan announced
In January-June 2023, humanitarian aid shipments worth $123.3 million arrived in Uzbekistan from 23 countries.

The main share of aid is contributed by Germany – $48.7 million (39.5%), China – $27.3 million (22.1%), the United States – $17 million (13.8%).
75.4% of the total humanitarian aid belongs to these three countries. This was announced in the report presented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance on the implementation of the budget for the first half of 2023.
When the received humanitarian aid is analyzed by sectors, it has been allocated to healthcare ($94.2 million), education ($27.4 million), gas supply enterprises for liquefied gas ($1.7 million), and the “Eastern Woman” fund ($273.7 thousand).
It can be seen that 76.4% of the incoming humanitarian aid goes to the health sector.
When analyzing humanitarian aid received during this period in relation to the weight of organizations receiving humanitarian aid, the Agency for Sanitary and Epidemiological Peace under the Ministry of Health received 54.2%, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education – 13.3%, and the International Charity Fund “Sog‘lom avlod uchun” (“For a healthy generation”) – 7.7%.
It is noted that information about humanitarian aid entering the Republic of Uzbekistan is analyzed by the Treasury based on the information received from the Customs Committee.
