Poland to invest in berry crop cultivation in Uzbekistan
Practical cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and Fukuoka Prefecture of Japan will expand further.
The delegation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan paid a practical visit to Fukuoka Prefecture on September 26-27.
During the visit, meetings with Fukuoka Prefecture Governor Seitaro Hattori, the management of leading companies, such as Fukuoka Foreign Trade Association, Nishitetsu Travel Co. Ltd, Aglis Co.Ltd, Fukuoka Global Support Co.Ltd, were organized.
Following the dialogue, an agreement was reached on organizing a business mission of representatives of Fukuoka companies to Uzbekistan and developing potential areas of cooperation.
In the talks with Koji Nakamura, CEO of Nishitetsu Travel Co., Uzbek diplomats discussed the issues of increasing the flow of tourists from Japan to the country, developing new tourism routes, and launching charter flights from Kyushu to Uzbekistan.
In the meeting with Hiroyuki Nakamura, president of Aglis, a company specialized in the production of medical and agricultural products of Fukuoka Prefecture, issues of mutual cooperation were discussed.
