Traffic cameras begin to record drivers who are not wearing seat belts while driving
Failure to comply with the rules for using seat belts entails a fine of 50% of the base calculating amount (165 thousand soums today).
Now special devices that detect violations throughout the republic will also detect violations such as violations of the rules for drivers using seat belts when driving a vehicle, the Road Safety Service of the MIA Department of Public Security reported.
It is noted that according to paragraph 9 of the “Road Rules”, the driver of a vehicle that has a seat belt in its design, before starting the trip, he is obliged to fasten his seat belt, according to paragraph 10, he must warn passengers about the need to fasten his belt, while paragraph 23 of the rules states that passengers must also fasten seat belts.
According to Article 125-1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code, failure to comply with the rules regarding seat belts entails a fine of 50% percent of the BCA (165 thousand soums today), the Traffic Safety Inspectorate warns.
