Uzbekistan, Russia sign 10 documents on cooperation
Following the negotiations in Russia, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Vladimir Putin adopted a joint statement on deepening relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.

On October 6, following the talks between President Mirziyoyev and President Putin, an exchange of 10 documents adopted between the governments and ministries of the two countries took place.
The signed documents include:
• Agreement on the establishment of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in the city of Samarkand;
• Agreement on mutual recognition of relevant institutions of an authorized economic operator;
• Agreement on the implementation of the project for organizing high-speed rail transportation “Agroexpress”;
• Cooperation program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2024-2025.
The parties also signed a number of documents on cooperation in the fields of transport, science, education, and culture.
“These agreements will help deepen practical cooperation in a number of promising areas of interaction between Uzbekistan and Russia,” the sides noted.
