The international music festival "Sharq Taronalari", which is traditionally held in Samarkand on the initiative of the president, will now be held in Namangan, UzNews writes with reference to Anvar Ikromov, head of the Department for Protection and Research of Archaeological Heritage of Akhsikent.
In Namangan, intensive preparations are being carried out for this important event: dozens of hotels are being built and the necessary infrastructure is being created.
"The tourism potential of the Namangan region is growing. A tourism cluster is being created, and dozens of hotels and other infrastructures are being built. Soon, the world-famous "Sharq Taronalari" festival will be held there," said Anvar Ikromov.
It should be noted that the international music festival "Sharq Taronalari" has been held every two years since 1997 in the city of Samarkand. This year it was postponed for unknown reasons.
