Railway ticket prices not to increase for now
According to the statement of Uzbekistan Railways dated October 3, railway ticket prices were set to increase by 50-100% from today, October 20.
The spokesperson for the company, Alisher Boltaboyev, informed Kun.uz that ticket prices will not be increased for now. However, Uzbekistan Railways is revising the rates.
It is not known yet when and how much the ticket prices will increase. But what is expected, according to Boltaboyev, the fares for high-speed trains will not be doubled.

"Once the decision on this matter is made, the organization itself will announce it to the public," said the company representative.
Kun.uz reviewed the prices through the electronic platform of Uzbekistan Railways JSC; they have remained unchanged.

It should be noted that according to the presidential decree signed earlier, from January 1, 2024, the state will no longer regulate tariffs for high-speed trains.
