Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Italy completes his diplomatic mission
Otabek Akbarov headed the diplomatic mission in Italy for more than 5 years.
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Otabek Akbarov, who is completing his diplomatic mission to Italy, has held a meeting with the Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Edmondo Cirielli.
During the meeting, Edmondo Cirielli positively assessed the five-year activity of Otabek Akbarov and expressed gratitude on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for his efforts to raise bilateral relations to a new level, giving them a multifaceted and stable character.
It should be noted that Otabek Akbarov, who was appointed ambassador to Italy in August 2018, also headed the country’s diplomatic mission to Greece and was the permanent representative of Uzbekistan in the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the World Food Program (WFP).
