According to the National Statistics Committee, neighboring Central Asian countries remained the most popular destinations, accounting for the majority of outbound trips.
Kyrgyzstan was the most visited country, with 1,981,542 trips recorded between January and July. Kazakhstan ranked second with 805,437 visits, followed by Tajikistan with 744,974.
Russia was the fourth-most visited destination, receiving 222,605 Uzbek travelers. Saudi Arabia followed with 167,337 visits, while Turkey recorded 166,893.
Other leading destinations included the United Arab Emirates with 47,020 visits, China with 43,581, Egypt with 32,470 and Vietnam with 28,224.
The figures show that Central Asia and Russia continue to dominate Uzbekistan’s outbound tourism, while travel to destinations in the Middle East and Asia is also gaining ground.
