Plane flying from Shanghai to Frankfurt lands in Tashkent due to a quarrel on board
Uzbekistan Airports provided information about the incident.
According to Uzbekistan Airports, passenger flight LH729 of the German Lufthansa airline en route Shanghai – Frankfurt landed at an alternative airfield at Tashkent International Airport due to a quarrel between two passengers.
The crew asked to call law enforcement officers to the plane.
The Boeing 747-800 with 206 passengers on board made an emergency landing at 17:32 local time. The rowdy passengers were removed from the flight.
The aircraft took off from Tashkent to the designated airport at 20:36.
