Mirziyoyev and Macron to hold high-level talks in Samarkand
At the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, French President Emmanuel Macron will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on November 1-2.
In accordance with the program of the visit, high-level negotiations will be held in the city of Samarkand, during which issues of further expanding Uzbek-French multifaceted relations will be considered.
The focus will be on strengthening practical cooperation in the trade, economic, innovation, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and France will also take part in a joint business forum with the participation of leading companies as well as the banking and financial institutions of the two countries.
Following the summit, the parties are expected to adopt a number of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements, as well as a package of trade and investment contracts.
