Uzbekistan significantly increased import of solar panels 

Based on the results of ten months, Uzbekistan increased the import of solar panels from abroad by more than 20 times, the press service of the Customs Committee reports.

In January-October, 3.85 million solar panels were supplied to Uzbekistan, which is almost 21 times more than in the corresponding period of 2022. The total cost of imported solar panels is estimated at $427.1 thousand.

Imports of solar panels from China amounted to 3.79 million units, accounting for 98.3% of total shipments.

Also, supplies of solar panels to Uzbekistan were carried out from Hong Kong (15.5 thousand devices), UAE (15.1), Turkey (7.5) and South Korea (6.8).
