Shavkat Mirziyoyev thanks foreign partners for their support

“On behalf of the multinational people of Uzbekistan and on my own behalf, I would like to sincerely thank all our foreign friends and partners for supporting the historic decision to hold the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in ancient Samarkand in 2025.

I am confident that this important global event, which will be held in our region for the first time, will once again demonstrate to the world community the enormous civilizational potential of Uzbekistan and the states of Central Asia.

In turn, Uzbekistan will make every effort to organize and conduct the upcoming session at the highest level,” the President said.
