Uzbekistan Airways to launch direct flights between Tashkent and Tokyo during winter season

In order to attract Japanese tourists and create favorable conditions for citizens of Uzbekistan living in Japan, Uzbekistan Airways decided to launch direct flights on the Tashkent-Tokyo-Tashkent route from December 2023 to March 2024.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, to date, direct flights on the Tashkent-Tokyo-Tashkent route have been operated only in the April-October period.

Flights in the winter season are being organized for the first time in the last 15 years.

The aim is to increase the Japanese tourist flow to the historical cities of Uzbekistan, double the number of transit flights through Tashkent, expand transit routes through Uzbekistan to the countries of Central Asia, the CIS, Europe, the Middle East, and also create conditions for our Uzbeks living in Japan.
