Plane en route Navoi – Moscow makes an emergency landing

The reason was a sharp deterioration in the health of one of the passengers.

Uzbekistan Airways flight HY-9617 on the Navoi – Moscow route, was forced to land at Urgench airport shortly after takeoff. The reason was the deterioration of the condition of one of the passengers.

The aircraft with 107 passengers on board landed at Urgench airport at 18:42 Tashkent time. The passenger (citizen of Uzbekistan) and his luggage were removed from the board and hospitalized in the Urgench city hospital.

At 19:51 local time, the Uzbekistan Airways plane took off for Vnukovo airport.
