Uzbekistan, UNFPA to implement new projects in 4 directions
Negotiations were held with the head of the representative office of the United Nations Population Fund at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov held a meeting with Nigina Abbaszadeh, head of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) office in Uzbekistan.
According to the MFA, the current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the fund and the prospects for its further development were discussed.
Issues related to the implementation of new projects in areas such as healthcare, gender equality, demography, and youth support were discussed.
Opinions were exchanged on the activation of mutual cooperation in the implementation of priority tasks set in the “Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy.
