Uzbekistan’s population increasing by about 2.1 thousand people every day
Since the beginning of 2023, the population of Uzbekistan has increased by 774.8 thousand people.
According to the Statistics Agency, as of January 1, 2024, the permanent population of Uzbekistan was 36,799,756 people.
The population of the republic increased by 2.2% compared to the corresponding period last year.
The country’s population grew by an average of 64.6 thousand people each month or 2.1 thousand people every day last year.
