Ambulance services received more than 3.5 thousand fake calls in 2023
The director of the Republican Emergency Medical Center provided information about regions with the highest number of fake calls.

In 2023, the ambulance service received 3,505 fake calls, said Abduvoit Gafurov, director of the Republican Emergency Medical Center.
“Compared to 2022, the number of fake calls decreased significantly. However, in some regions the figure is still high,” said the head of the center.
The largest number of fake calls was registered in Tashkent region (630), followed by Fergana region (518) and Kashkadarya region (502).
The figure was comparatively low in Samarkand region; during the reporting period, only 19 such calls were registered.
In 2022, the ambulance service received 5,446 fake calls.
