Individual trying to sell a Makarov pistol detained in Samarkand
An operative event was held in Jambay district by employees of the Samarkand Regional SSS Department.

According to the SSS, a person living in Tashkent, who was previously convicted under Articles 251-1 and 246 of the Criminal Code, was caught red-handed while trying to sell 1 Makarov pistol and 96 units of bullets to a buyer for $10,000.
Also, during the search of his apartment, the old model Monte Cristo pistol with a caliber of 5.6 mm, various cartridges, parts of a shotgun, sharp objects and other material evidence were confiscated in procedural order.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against this person under Article 248-3 of the Criminal Code, and a precautionary measure in the form of imprisonment has been applied.
