New season of Open Budget initiative to kick off on Feb 1
More than 3 trillion soums will be allocated from the district and city budgets for the first season of the Open Budget initiative.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance reports that the first season of the Initiative Budget will begin on February 1.
In particular:
- from February 1 to February 20 - the formation of projects starts;
- from February 21 to March 11 - selection of projects;
- from March 12 to March 31 - voting on projects.
The department also noted that more than 3 trillion soums will be allocated from the district and city budgets for the first season of the Open Budget initiative this year. The maximum cost of projects will be 1 billion 360 million soums.
