Private airport to be built in Akhangaran
The project will be implemented in cooperation with China.
On the sidelines of the Uzbekistan-China business forum, the parties reached an agreement on the construction of a private airport in the Akhangaran district of the Tashkent region.
According to the Tashkent region’s administration, it will be the only private airfield in Central Asia.
The cost of the project is estimated at $380 million.
Construction work is set to begin in the second half of this year.
