The hotel has 24 rooms; the costs vary from $30 to $150.
The first hotel opened at Tashkent International Airport, Spot writes with reference to Uzbekistan Airports.
The hotel complex is located in the waiting area of the departure terminal. It has 24 mini-rooms on two floors. On the ground floor, there are bathrooms and a shower, a reception desk and an information board. Each room has an individual boarding invitation system.
“The mini-rooms are designed like small cozy cabins with a full-size single bed and a minimal set of accessories – a lamp, a mirror, a clothes hanger, a shelf for hand luggage, a table. The hotel suits well for passengers who stay there for several hours during a transfer without leaving the airport or the transit zone,” Uzbekistan Airports noted.
The hotel area of 240 sq. m was transferred to a private company through an auction and will operate under the Khamsa Hotel brand. The cost of accommodation varies from $30 to $150 depending on the length of stay and class.
23 rooms correspond to the standard class and only one room is luxury, intended for family accommodation. The hotel is designed in an oriental style by local artist Bobur Ismailov.
