Uzbekhydroenergo re-announces a tender for construction of five new HPPs
Power plants with a capacity of 46.6 MW will be built through a public-private partnership.

Uzbekhydroenergo has announced a tender for the construction of five new hydroelectric power plsnts, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reports.
To cover the growing demand for electricity, Uzbekhydroenergo will hold a tender for a qualification request for the implementation of projects for the construction of new hydroelectric power plants “Dukentsoy HPP”, “Cascade of Kamchik HPP (Kamchik 2-3)”, “Kizildarya and Suvlisay HPP”, “Kuyi Koksu HPP” in four separate lots.
The project for the construction of HPPs with a capacity of 46.6 MW will be implemented on the basis of public-private partnership.
To participate in the tender, investors must send a price request document and any additional information or clarification regarding the proposal in writing by February 29 to the following email addresses: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected].
An application for participation in SOQ – submission of qualifications – must be sent before 12:00 on April 1 to [email protected].
In August 2023, Uzbekhydroenergo already announced a tender for the construction of these five hydroelectric power plants, whose total cost is $106.9 million.
